Chrysler September US Sales Boosted 27% by 300, Durango

Chrysler Group has reported earlier today that is US sales have increased by 27 percent, due in part to increased demand for the new 300 sedan, deliveries of which rose by 50 percent to 4,445 during the month that just ended.
In September, Chrysler managed to deliver a total of 127,334 cars and trucks in the US market alone, beating market expectations significantly. The overall market is also expect to show the biggest increase since August when annualized figures are released later today.

Sales of the Dodge Durango have also shown robust strength, with deliveries increasing by 4,923 from 47 a year earlier, the company said in the Exchange Commission filing. Meanwhile, demand for the Jeep Compass rose fourfold to 4,422 from 1,090 during the same month a year ago.

Their retail deliveries alone were up by half during the month, showing the overall strength of the product line.
