Chrysler Group announced yet another recall for its Ram brand that affects 1,200 pickup trucks built for the 2013 model year. The recall is being issued for Ram 2500 and 3500 models equipped with premium headlights that might not comply with government regulations while in high-beam mode.
“An internal investigation by Chrysler Group engineers discovered some vehicles were assembled with headlamps whose high beams may not comply with standards governing aim and intensity. Chrysler Group will update the software that controls headlamp function, at no cost to customers,” Chrysler Group said in a statement.
About 1,100 of the affected pickup trucks are in the United States, while 170 are in Canada and 15 outside North America.
The american manufacturer also announced a recall for its 2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 trucks and another one for about 37,000 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 models.
