Taking advantage of the various special coverages we’ve done over the past few months, including December’s Celebration Month, we uncovered a plethora of Chevrolet C10 pickups in various forms, sizes, and colors. None of them, however, seems as down to business as the 1971 model we have here.
Available for sale for a nice and round sum of $30,000, the pickup looks ready for one of three things: a fast run down the drag strip, a casual drive down the road, or an impressive appearance at an auto show – whatever business the buyer has with it.

The pickup has been extensively modified compared to stock. First of all, it rides closer to the ground than a regular C10 would, and that is partially due to the shaved rear with widened fender tubs. Also contributing to the feeling that this thing is lower than it should be is the chopped cab.

Riding on 15-inch wheels, the truck is a two-color affair, with purple and white sharing relatively equal portions of the shaved body. Up at the front and low at the rear, there are thin flames for effect. It's not a very substantial one, though, seeing as the eye is instantly drawn to the massive forward-facing scoop on the hood.

The interior shows the same colors as the exterior, only this time purple seems to be far more present. The bucket seats are wrapped in cloth, and the dash is in original C10-style.

The engine bay no longer holds the factory-provided engine, but a crate 350-ci (5.7-liter) of Chevrolet make. We are not being provided with the performance numbers, but we are being told the powerplant comes with a Holley carburetor and a 3-speed automatic transmission.

According to the posting, the mileage on the pickup is 69,000 (111,000 km). As said, the asking price is $30k.
