If you ever dreamed of owning an aggressive car, without actually owning an aggressive car, than the so called "Tags" offered by American manufacturer Chevrolet in the United Kingdom is exactly the thing you needed.
With a price starting at £6,945 on-the-road, be sure the Spark doesn't have much to offer, so in order to sweeten the offer without ading more pounds to the OTR, the carmaker decided to go for three different graphic sets, complete with coordinated set of floor mats.
The Pop tag "brings out the Spark’s inner Sparkle," as Chevrolet says (really, we smiled on this one...), brings a shimmering star pattern along the car’s doors and rear quarters. It is, in Chevy's view, the most discreet of the three themes and – pay attention to the fine print - "is bound to appeal to motorists who want their Spark to subtly stand out from the crowd."
The second tag, the Sports, is the one we were talking about earlier. It makes the car look sportier, without actually making it so. Sport features twin racing stripes over the bonnet, roof and tailgate, plus matching side graphics.
And last, but not least, the Urban "isn’t quite so dramatic" and includes a smart styling stripe on the car’s rear quarter and a distinctive urban street tag graphic on each front door.
And since we were mentioning additional pounds on the OTR in the text above, you should know the tags don't come for free after all. They will arrive in dealerships, together with the Spark, in March, and will cost an extra £199 fitted.
