Chevrolet is now taking direct responsibility and control of its cars that are sold and delivered in Ireland, as Chevrolet UK is taking over as distribution and import in its neighboring island. The company sees this as an opportunity to increase its share and brand recognition in Europe.
“While the Irish market isn’t one of the biggest in Europe, it represents a real opportunity for a brand like Chevrolet to grow and develop yet further,” says Mark Terry, Managing Director for Chevrolet UK and Ireland.

“With the great range of cars we now have, our competitive CO2 figures, low purchase and ownership costs and a dedicated team here in the UK that covers every aspect of the business, I’m confident we can become a major player in Ireland, significantly adding to our future sales and parts volumes, and moreover delivering exactly the type of cars that the Irish markets wants and needs,” the MD adds.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
