We have to deviate your attention for a few seconds from the hundreds of cars making their way to the Geneva Motor Show next week, to one that will bow at the New York Auto Show in April this year.
The Buick Enclave is GM’s first premium SUV based on the Lambda Platform that also underpins the GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Traverse and the Saturn Outlook. In the new and refreshed Buick range it replaced a number of old cars, like the Terraza minivan, the Rendezvous crossover and the Rainier truck-based SUV.
Information is scarce at the moment, but the luxury crossover is going to get a strong update for the 2013 model year. To preview this, General Motors has offered a teaser image of the interior, which is bathed in teal light, like one of those Tron light cyles.
The teaser image also shows a new infotainment system. Extra trim also appears to have found its way around the center vents a clock.
The 2013 Buick Enclave will also come with 'industry-exclusive safety technology', in the form of a new type of airbag that opens between the drive and passenger to stop them from colliding into one another in a side impact.
