Chevrolet will discontinue the beige convertible top for the new Camaro musclecar after the 2014 model year, GM High-Tech Performance reports, adding that the last window for dealers to submit for Camaros with beige tops starts December 5.
Beginning with the 2015 model year, the Chevrolet Camaro will only be available with black and blue soft tops, but the latter to be exclusive for the Spring Special Edition model that was introduced at the 2013 SEMA Show earlier this month.
In Camaro related news, Chevrolet has put a hold on orders for the 2014 1LE and ZL1 models due to tires that may not be suitable for the cold season. Order processing will be suspended from November 21 through February 11, which means production will be affected from January to March 2014. However, vehicle built through December will reach Chevrolet dealers for those that are fast enough to place an order.
