The custom side of the pickup truck world is richer than ever and this also applies to the drifting subculture. In fact, the rendering that now occupies our screens comes to deliver an example of this.
The world has been gifted with a multiple of drift trucks over the past decade and, if we are to think of one the Internet is all too familiar with, Ken Block's 1977 F-150 Hoonitruck, the restomod star of Gymkhana Ten, is an example as good as any (more on this type of project below).

Returning to the modern-day pixel proposal we have here, this started out in life as... a 3D model of the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado Regular Cab.

However, the bed wielder has been brought considerably closer to the road, so the one behind the wheel doesn't get in trouble during the weight transfer game that drifters are happy to play for the audience.

And it's the simple approach of the once-a-workhorse that allows this project to stand out compared to others of its kind, be they real or virtual.

Much to nobody's surprise, the fender flares are the eye-catcher here, with these featuring a design that seems to fall in line with the factory styling of the vehicle, while their visible rivets add some extra spice.

In the (subjective) order of their visual appeal, the rest of the aero bits include the tailgate spoiler, the rear apron, with its dual exhaust setup and its diffuser, as well as the keep-it-simple lower front apron. Of course, the Forgiato wheels, which bring a competition look, also deserve credit here.

Now, if you're looking for a more complex drift truck project that started out as a rendering and morphed into a full build, perhaps this NASCAR-muscle Toyota Tacoma, which showed up at least year's SEMA show, might float your boat.
