Are you planning a pre-1976 vehicle restomod build and need a V8 block starter? Then you should check out the new LSX376-B15 from Chevrolet Performance. The LSX-based 6.2-liter small-block comes with forged internals and six-bolt heads for more boost and is intended for pre-1976 street cars and “any off-road vehicles.”
Fitted with forged-steel crankshaft, forged rods, forged pistons and high-flow, rectangular-port LSX-LS3 six-bolt aluminum heads, the block can handle up to 15 pounds of boost and can provide 450 HP at 5,900 rpm. To allow customer to tailor their own induction system, Chevy Performance delivers the LSX376-B15 without an intake manifold and other accessories.
Assembly does not include any electronics and requires an LSX Ignition Controller for carbureted applications. The new block is on sale for $9,688 as we speak.
