What would happen if an over-engineered Mercedes-Benz Unimog could make some sweet love to a simple but robust Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45? Well, the Unicruiser might get born.
It appears that such an “event” happened and there really is a half Toyota half Mercedes truck out there, as Bring a Trailer found one for sale and posted it recently.
The rare “creature” possesses the rugged FJ45’s spartan body on top of the Unimog’s powertrain and wheels. Powered by a strong turbo-diesel engine and having 9:1 geared axles, this vehicle can go almost everywhere. Despite its height, it even has a snorkel, so getting through a 2-meter deep river won’t be a tough job.
Its owner said that he wants to sell it because it is exceeding his basic needs and he wants someone else to make good use of it.
