Check Out the Jaguar F-Type in Paris

Jaguar’s long-awaited all-new sports car, the F-Type is officially here. It currently graces the Jaguar stand only in convertible form, yet nobody seems to be missing a coupe, as the roofless version is a stunner. It is one of their best-designed cars in years, featuring a low-slung stance, short windscreen and well-defined flanks.
Under its rather long bonnet, future buyers will have the option to choose Jaguar’s new 3.0-liter supercharged engine, available with either 340 hp or 380 hp. However, if that’s not enough, the automaker from Coventry is also offering their 5.0-liter V8 unit, which has an output of 495 hp, enabling the F-Type to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.3 seconds, before stopping just short of 300 km/h (182 mph, to be precise).

Also, considering the fact that special care has gone into assuring that the F-Type is an excellent driver’s car, the Porsche Boxster, and higher-spec BMW Z4 had better watch out!
