CGS 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Headed for SEMA

CGS Motorsports is preparing a special modification package for this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show.

The U.S. aftermarket company has chosen the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro as a base for its latest tuning project.

Once again, CGS is creating another SEMA Show vehicle for GM, which will be showcased at the 2010 SEMA Show. They will be customizing a new '11 Chevy Camaro,” stated the press release.

The vehicle will be fitted with a ZR-1 inspired hood (this will use a engine „window”) and will employ a custom body kit that accentuates its muscular image, while also using custom chrome moldings. The car comes dressed in a special paint.

Under the special hood, we’ll be able to find a twin screw supercharger that upgrades the engine’s output to almost 500 hp. For its mighty task, the blower is assisted by a Cat-Back exhaust system developed and produced in-house.

The vehicle rides on impressive Genuine Boyds rims, which come in a 22 inch size for the front axle and a 24 inch size for the rear one. The custom rims are wrapped in special Pirelli tires. The car’s suspension has also been tweaked.

As illustrated in the rendering, 22" wheels up front a set of 24"x15" rear wheels by Genuine Boyds, Pirelli's new 405/25/24" rear tires, the rear wheels and tires will be stuffed under the back without any type fender fairing. All the rear suspension will be replaced with Chris Alston's Fab 9 rear end with a latter bar and coil over suspension,” stated the press release.
