CCI Launch the 40th Anniversary Bagger

Custom Design Studios teamed up with Custom Chrome to produce a one-off custom bagger in honor of its 40th anniversary. The team behind the project took an existing CCI customized Harley-Davidson Bagger and completely changed it by making some engine modifications, adding numerous custom parts from the CCI catalogue and applying a DuPont Hot Hues paint finish.

"I like these kinds of projects because they allow me to take what I am given and create a motorcycle that anyone could recreate just by ordering parts from their local CCI dealer. I enjoy doing ground up customs but this type of project gives customers the opportunity to see what they can get done to their bikes by adding custom parts and paint," said Kirk Taylor from Custom Design Studios in a statement for the press.

Kirk has created several one-off parts for this build that CCI will start carrying in their catalogue including a new handlebar for baggers. This item, previously not available for baggers, will be offered in the CCI catalogue as well as Dick's unit velocity stack. The handlebars are more aggressive in style than common bagger bars, and will be available starting early 2010.

"Kirk and his team are who we turn to when we want a builder who can do everything from fabrication to paint. We know that we will get a truly unique motorcycle that was well thought out and will be a rider,"
said Kurt Peterson, Media and Events manager at Custom Chrome.
