Have you ever found yourself chased by zombie alien monsters on rough ground and your legs were tired? What you really needed is a DTV Shredder. This skateboard on tracks is the brainchild of Ben Gulak.
While it doesn’t look all that practical, this caterpillar tracked Segway will be the envy of everyone walking on their own two legs.
It was actually designed by creator Ben Gulak to be a first-response military vehicle for soldiers who need all-terrain access. And it promises to go where no Segway can go... or wants to. Because of the DTV Shredder’s low center of gravity, it can travel at high speeds over pretty much any kind of land conditions.
The little tracked vehicle can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour (48 km/h) and take on 40 degree slopes with no problem. The Shredder’s design allows it to be used remotely in areas where it’s to dangerous for a human. We would expect this feature would be great if you want to lure the zombie aliens away from you.
The vehicle has enough power to tow a wheeled stretcher behind it, in order to evacuate injured soldiers from the battlefield. Or you could tow the corpse of the dead alien to a nearby laboratory, in order to discover its weakness.
No details are available yet about what powers this contraption, or range we can expect from it. However, this looks better suited to recreational purposes rather then military action. It still looks like the back end of a snowmobile though.
