We know that Caterham is planning to create a sort of Seven for the 21st century soon, but for now their marketing and sales teams have to get busy selling the current lineup to customers across the world. And few markets can prove more lucrative than India, where any British brand should enjoy some extra status.
Caterham Cars will enter the lucrative Asian market this weekend, in a move that’s meant to coincide with the first ever Indian F1 Grand Prix.

“I am looking forward to introducing the exhilarating driving experience of a Seven, both on the road and on the circuit, to the Indian enthusiast,”
said Matt Cummings, who will have the run of the place.

“One of the most exciting phases of our operation will be a fully Indian-assembled Seven, making Caterham the only road, race and track car assembled in India,” he adds.

There are plans to launch the Caterham driving experience and one-make series next year.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
