Carlsson E-CK63 RS Details Released

Well known for its work on the Mercedes-Benz cars, German tuner Carlsson has just revealed the details of its latest project, the E-CK63 RS, based on the E 63 AMG. Just like with all their other kits, the tuners worked on improving both the styling and performances of the German limousine.

The Carlsson engineers managed to boost the car’s performances to 585 HP without changing the cubic capacity of 6.3 liters.

Moreover, they increased the maximum torque from 630 to 695 Nm. The 0 to 60 mph sprint has also been improved and is now accomplished in 4.5 seconds, which is with 0.3 seconds faster than the factory model.

On the other hand, the aerodynamic enhancements includes: front skirt, extended wings, side mouldings and rear skirt, all of them made in PU-RIM technology, and a carbon diffuser on both ends of the stainless steel end pipes from the exhaust system.

The tuners, however, went even further and mounted 1/5 REVO wheels with 8.5x20 size at the front and 10.5x20 size at the rear.

As for the interior enhancements, Carlsson uses leather and ultrasuede, creating a luxurious atmosphere. Not only the seats, but also the steering wheel, the automatic gearstick and the insides of the doors are lined with the most delicate materials.

Interior highlights also include aluminium applications such as the door lock studs, the pedals and the foot rest. Another eye-catcher are the illuminated floor mats with an embedded, white illuminated Carlsson logo.
