German tuner Carlsson has created a new C25 Super Gt limited edition model, still based on the Mercedes Benz SL, limited this time to the Chinese and Far East market. Some of you might already be familiar with the body kit that has tuned the SL into a monster. However, this time the base car is not the monstrous full throttle SL65 AMG with a big V12, rather a more mundane V8 with only 450 horsepower.
All the limited production cars will have the series numbers 1-3 and 5-8. They have already been sold to their end customers and are made on an individual basis according to their future owner’s demands.
The custom SLs come with redesigned head and taillights, aggressive front fascia with huge intakes, longer grill with Carlsson logo and lower side gills.
But what sets them all apart from the other cars on the road is a set of massive all-aluminum tailpipes that look ready to spit out the fires of hell.
This model, the one in the photos released by the tuner, is the C25 Limited Edition No. 1. It’s being transferred to its Shanghai owner via airplane. The rest will be built up over the next 12 months, with prices starting at RMB4 million ($630,000 or €503,000). That’s way too much money if you ask us!
