Cadillac has released several teaser photos and videos for the 2015 Escalade, ahead of the vehicles public debut on October 7 in New York City.
The Detroit-headquartered automakers has also revealed that the brand new SUV will be unveiled with indie rock photographer and director Autumn de Wilde, who produced a series of portraits and a film that highlight the car’s design process.
“I immerse myself in the world of my subjects. I suppose it’s not unlike a method actor’s approach sometimes,” said de Wilde. “My job is to give the audience even more of a reason to form a crush on this person or this object.. As a photographer, I am searching for those iconic portraits that makes you wish you were there. I am always searching,” he added.
Little is known about the 2015 Escalade, but the new SUV should be underpinned by Chevrolet Silverado’s new platform and powered by GM’s 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine. The vehicle will be fitted with Cadillac’s new LED lights and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
