The Mercedes-Benz GLA compact crossover is coming soon, there's no denying. After yesterday we showed you the designer sketches for the car, released by Mercedes-Benz on their official Facebook page, it's now time for the first video teaser for the new model.
Although we can't really say this is the most revealing teaser we have ever seen, the short clip posted on YouTube today does give a pretty good impression about the car's general stance and the shape of the headlights and taillights.

If all goes to plan and there aren't any leaks - which is highly unlikely, considering the way things have evolved in the online media -the entire car will be shown by Mercedes-Benz in the next couple of weeks via regularly posted teasers.

Until that time arrives, you can also have a look in the photo gallery below and compare the gorgeous GLA Concept with what the production car will look like. So far, we can't say that we're disappointed.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA (X164) will be based on the MFA platform, which will spawn up to four other models apart from the ones that are already in production (A-Class, B-Class, CLA and the upcoming GLA). It will officially be launched at the Frankfurt Auto show this September, with sales to begin by the end of the year.
