Cadillac Luxperiments Prove ATS' Durability in Amusing Ways

Your grandfather's Cadillac and the ATS really have nothing in common besides the heritage and the badge. It used to take as much as a decade for them to put a new car intro production, but modern cars can be ready in as little as two years.
Advanced testing systems ensure that a car doesn't actually have to be driven while tested. Cadillac thinks the stuffy way of making luxury cars is boring and has showcased its testing procedures three very funny commercials.

All sorts of "fancy" objects, like an old clock, a dining table and a black piano get subjected to the same rigors as the ATS. Naturally, the fail, proving that luxury on the move is different to luxury in your living room.

The ATS really should be considered Cadillac's greatest achievement. Built around a brand new platform that was later borrowed by the new CTS, it's lighter than most of its competitors. It's fresh and bold, and should do well on the global market.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
