Before the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V arrives with a minor horsepower bump, the outgoing CTS-V represents the luxury automaker's fastest and quickest accelerating production vehicle ever. But what would you say about an extensively tuned CTS-V that can do the 1/4-mile run in a blistering 9.19 seconds?
Yes, this particular Caddy has been caught on film doing the aforementioned, but before we go into the fine details, let's have a brief reminder of the factory-spec 2014 Cadillac CTS-V. Under the hood there's a supercharged 6.2-liter small-block V8 mill, which churns out 556 ponies and 551 lb-ft of twist.

Not bad for a showroom-fresh executive sedan, not bad at all. In this unmolested configuration, Caddy is adamant the CTS-V can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in an eye-watering 3.9 seconds. With so much performance on tap coming completely as standard, what more could you ask from a car than can seat five and their weekend's worth of luggage?

The owner of this Cadillac CTS-V wasn't particularly satisfied with his pride and joy, which is why Redline Motorsports, N20 Outlet and Richie's Transmission were employed to make the American brute three seconds faster on the quarter mile than its standard counterpart. Chip in a blower that pushes 15 psi, a 150 shot of nitrous oxide, as well as extra cooling and a heavy-duty tranny and this is what you get.

With those being said, the owner is adamant he hasn't thrown any of the interior trim like the seats or airbags to make this thing lighter, which is all the more impressive how fast this Cadillac CTS-V is.
