The Edition 507 of the C63 AMG is pretty much a swan song for the glorious M156 naturally aspirated V8, since all the latest reports indicate that the future AMG version of the upcoming W205 C-Class will feature a twin-turbocharged V8.
Currently the second most powerful C-Class in the AMG road going line-up by only 10 hp, the Edition 507 features, you guessed it, 507 horsepower delivered via aspiration at 6.800 rpm, enough to propel the Teutonic muscle sedan from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.1 seconds.

In the following video of the car, one of the very few currently available on Youtube or any other video sites, The Getawayer gives a very German sounding review of the special car. By “German sounding” we are talking about both the man's accent and the scrupulousness of the way it's filmed.

All in all, the best part of the footage remains the ungodly sound of that raspy V8 to be heard on a road between some German woods. Not a bad way to spend 10 minutes on YouTube with volume high up.
