When you're talking about speeds few other cars can dream of, custom wheels seem a little big less important. However, Bugattis need custom loving too, which is why ADV1 decided to offer special forged rims especially for the mighty quad-turbo machine.
Since the Veyron has such specific demands, the wheel specialists had to craft different. The result is called ADV6.0 TSSL, a design that can accompany he Veyron all the way to 400 km/h.
Engineering the special wheel had to also take into account the specific handling and turning characteristics of the car, not to mention the fact that they have to deal with over a thousand horsepower.
All this technology doesn't come cheap. ADV did not go into specifics, but over €10,000 is a given considering the warranty and the performance of the car. Still, that's less than you'd pay for a major service.
