Amazing Bugatti Veyron GS Vitesse Driven by Jay Leno

The latest version o the mighty Veyron, the Grand Sport Vitesse, was unveiled earlier this year in Geneva. It then got its US debut at Pebble Beach. Of course, Jay Leno is big on all things Bugatti (yes, he owns a lot of them) and hence he just had to see what this new one is all about.

This is the fastest convertible on the planet right now (unless Hennessey does something about it) and it’s roof is a single-piece creation made from carbon fiber and polycarbonate. We have to admit we never new it was semi-transparent until today.

The Vitesse is 200 hp more powerful than the ‘regular’ Veyron drop-top, and they did this by putting bigger turbos and two more fuel pumps on the car. Because more power means more heat, they’ve made the front air intake slightly bigger, again, something we didn’t notice.

We think this is the same exact car we saw back in August. Tell us if you know we’re wrong.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
