If you can't imagine how would an '84 BMW K100 in a racing livery, we don't blame you: we've checked with BSK SpeedWorks and learned that they're imaginative enough for a lor of guys like you and us. Welcome the BSK SpeedWorks K100 racing replica!
The workshop is based in Bedfordshire, England, and Ks are their specialty: they're one of the few places to go to if BMW K performance and custom parts are on your shopping list.
Even if the original K100 was engineered for touring, BSK SpeedWorks have given this bike a new, cafe-racer identity. After shaving more than 50 kg (110 lbs) of unnecessary bulk from it, the engine was rebuilt and got a new clutch, a reconditioned oil and water pumps, as well as a new forced-air intake system.
The engine also received a new Bosch ignition and some fine tuning and can produce around 90 HP in this trim. Suspensions were upgraded to RAM in the rear and Goldline in the front, to add performance to the new stance of the chopped and revised frame.
Add in BSK's own rear sets and exhaust system, and there you go: a K100 like few others out there, available for $8,925 (€6,800). Seen on Pipeburn.
