Brian Scott, Driver for 4th Braun Toyota

With the preparations for the 2010 Nationwide Series already under way for all the teams involved, Braun Racing announced yesterday it will expand to four cars for the upcoming season.

"It's been a great ride, from where we started as a no-name ARCA team in 2002, to where we are today," Todd Braun was quoted as saying by NASCAR.

"It's been a lot of hard work, but it's something I am very proud of. Expanding into a four-car team is not something I ever fathomed, but I have a great group of hard-working, dedicated people behind me that have helped to make it happen."

Brian Scott will be placed behind the wheel of Braun's fourth Toyota, after debuting this season, during April's Nashville race. He has been driving for Braun in four other races, as the team wanted to test his skills.

"I am really excited to have the opportunity to join forces with Braun Racing next season," Scott told the source. "We had some great runs this year, which I think is a solid building block for what we want to accomplish in 2010."

"Braun Racing is an outstanding organization, with first-rate equipment and an extremely talented crew and staff. As a driver entering his first season of full-time competition in the Nationwide Series, you can't ask to be in a better situation. Daytona can't get here fast enough for me!"

The team has not announced yet the sponsor, car number or crew chief for the 4th entry, but it will do so in the following weeks.
