Breathtaking Ferrari F40 Onboard Footage

The Ferrari F40 needs no introduction, as it is more than capable of doing it without any human aid. It is, and always will be, the last and most modern car to embody Enzo Ferrari’s no frills philosophy to making sports cars, as subsequent models have gotten more and more technology and (useless) gadgets, for the sake of driving ease - why do supercars need to be easy to drive?
The amount of electronics fitted to modern Ferraris would make Enzo roll in his grave, so we must enjoy this last ‘pure’ Prancing Horse, a car which is unflustered by useless technology, relying on an excellent turbocharged V8 engine and a great chassis to make it the icon that it is today. Watch the linked video and see just how well it holds the road and how monstrously fast its 471 hp engine really propels it - it also sounds very good, especially considering that it has a turbocharged engine, which usually results in a muffled note.

How come it took other manufacturers, Ferrari included, years upon years to develop something which would even remotely match it. Honestly, along with the death of ‘Old Man Ferrari’, his whole philosophy of building cars began to be ‘interpreted’ by others as they saw fit, distancing Ferrari from its core values more and more over the years, making it too much of a ‘commercial’ brand.
