A little over two months ago, Brabus was unveiling what we then called the “world's most powerful street legal all-wheel drive wagon.”
Well, since good things always come in pairs, the Bottrop tuners just did it again, fitting the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG T-Modell (Station Wagon) with the same monstrous powertrain from the Brabus 850 Shooting Brake 6.0 Biturbo 4Matic.
Just like before, the M157 V8 engine no longer delivers a “puny” 557 hp (in the “regular” E 63 AMG) or 585 hp (in the hardcore E 63 AMG S-Model) but a staggering 850 hp.
Even more impressive are the torque figures, with the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo E-Class Wagon delivering an Earth-moving 1,450 Nm (1069 lb ft), sadly limited to “just” 1,150 Nm (848 lb ft) in order to protect the already stressed drivetrain.
These jaw-dropping numbers translate into a 3.1 seconds acceleration from naught to 100 km/h (62 mph) when fitted with 4Matic all-wheel drive, transforming the car into a regular Nissan GT-R hunter that can also haul five passengers and their dogs.
