The first generation of the Mercedes CLS has had its fair share of aftermarket developments, as the vehicle was ranked high on tuners' "want" list. It's easy to understand why when you think that the four-door coupe's status brings a huge shining aura. However, the second generation of the vehicle is now among us, so it is time for it to enter the tuning companies' crosshairs.

Getting to the point, we'll tell you that one tuner that has already got its hands on the new CLS is Brabus. The German company has released a set of images of its CLS modification kit. Unfortunately this is only a preview. In other words, the tuner hasn't offered us any information about the mods.

However, considering that we are talking about the guys that created the Rocket, one of Brabus' CLS-based monsters and a contender for the fastest four-door vehicle in the world, we can be pretty sure that things will be at least impressive.

We'll remind you that the top factory version of the CLS, the AMG one, has lost the old generation's naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8. This has been replaced with a new twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 mill.

The new powerplant allows the driver to punish the rear wheels with 525 hp, so we're really curious to see what Brabus can do for it.

Until the juicy tech details arrive, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the gallery released by the tuner - this is what we're doing right now.
