“Electric mobility for everyday use requires short charging times. With the RWE-BRABUS car charger our customers can recharge their cars three times faster than using a standard electrical outlet – a range of 350 km in less than six hours,” says Carolin Reichert, director of the E-Mobility business division at RWE.
The tuning company also tweaked the vehicle’s appearance a bit by upgrading the front apron with an especially lightweight carbon-fiber front lip and daytime running lights integrated into the grille. The sides of the Tesla are upgraded with Brabus under-floor light, activated with the key fob or by opening the doors.
At the rear, the Tesla has been fitted with a rear wing and rear diffuser, both manufactured from carbon fiber. Custom-tailored BRABUS tire/wheel combinations further improve the car’s driving dynamics.
And since we all know the biggest problem with an electric vehicle is that they don’t sound as loud as a diesel or petrol engine, the tuners gave the two-seater a space sound generator. Passengers can choose from various simulated engine noises such as the sound of a typical V8 or a racecar.
Also available are two futuristic soundscapes called ‘Beam’ and ‘Warp.’ The intensity of the sound is dependent on the power output of the electric engine at the time.
