It seems that the BMW X5 remains the most frequently stolen car in the UK, as shown in a report that was recently published by stolen vehicle recovery company TRACKER.
The report places the SAV at the top of the stolen and recovered vehicles in Britain. When it comes to thief’s favorites, the second and third places are held by the Land Rover Voque and Sport.

TRACKER also offers us some data from the past, revealing that back in 2011 BMW held the top three spots, with the X5 keeping the top spot and being followed by the 1 Series and 3 Series.

As for 2012, this saw Mercedes attract thieves, with the SLK and ML in fifth and sixth place, while seventh place was split between the CLS and E Class. Today, the 3 Series sits on fourth place, sharing it with the Audi RS4, while the 1 Series is out of the top 10.
