A recent post on Facebook from PP-Performance showed that they already created an ECU map for the brand new F15 X5 xDrive50i, the stage 1 setup being ready for usage.
According to their official data, the new map would give the 4.4-liter V8 engine up to 90 HP compared to the stock module. This means that the PP-Performance xDrive50i is the closest thing you can get to an X5 M until the proper M car is released. Get the M Sport package on it too and you’ll be pretty close, in case you just can’t wait anymore.

Torque was also drastically improved, being rated at 710 Nm (524 lb-ft), even more than the S63Tu engine makes on real M cars (rated at 680 Nm).

At the moment, we don’t have an official 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) number but since the stock car does the sprint in just 5 seconds, we can expect this one to do it closer to 4.5 seconds. Top speed has been increased to 300 km/h (169 mph).
