The guys from Dragtimes Info earned themselves a reputation for filming and drag racing some of the fastest road-legal cars in the world. Amongst them you’ll find 2000 HP Gallardos, 1500 HP GT-R but also some really well tricked out BMWs, like the one you’re about to witness in action.
The car I’m talking about is a PP-Performance tuned BMW X6 M rated somewhere around 760 HP and a more than 1,000 Nm of torque, at the wheels. Coupled to that impeccable 7-speed DCT gearbox and the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, this SAC is one fast kitty.
Here, you can watch it go against a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a 700 HP Aventador, a 700 HP Panamera Turbo S and an Alpina B6. Sure, it loses but you have to remind yourself that it’s carrying around well over 2 tones of metal and its shape isn’t that slick either, putting up quite a lot of resistance as speed increases.
