It might not be as famous as the 24 Hour Nurburgring or the real Le Mans race but the Wisconsin LeMons was still entertaining this weekend, with a couple of interestingly decorated cars, taking to the track.
Amongst the cars that lined-up for the race in Class A was a BMW E30 325i, run by team LemonAid. They have been competing in Midwestern LeMons races for quite some time now, but never made it to the top spot until now.
With a risky strategy that included the car running on fumes by the time the checkered flag came out, the driver inside the number 35 car managed to pull ahead in the last lap, defeating the Landshark Acura Integra behind it, being 2 seconds faster.
Third place went to team We Are Not Really From Iran and their Mazda B car with a swapped Ford Festiva engine that managed to keep the Sucker Punch Racing Camaro at bay, when it mattered the most.
Overall, everybody had a blast and all of them deserve congratulations on their creative names and performances.
