What a journey it has been this year in the DTM Championship. BMW had it's work cut out trying to maintain the Manufacturer's title and it certainly wasn't easy. The guys pulled together though and, in the end, the M3 claimed victory once again.
Out of the 10 races of the season, BMW managed to win 5, an outmost impressive performance from the Bavarians. However, due to several clinches and lack of a single driver dominating the scene, the Driver's title went to Mike Rockenfeller that managed to gather more points overall.
Apart from the 5 wins, BMW also claimed 4 pole positions, 2 fastest lap times and the 2013 Rookie of the Year Award that went to Marco Wittmann from BMW Team MTEK.
