BMW has officially unveiled their Concept 4-Series Coupe at a design even in Munich. The car is meant to preview a production version which could hit the market in about six months from now.
Not surprisingly, there will also be an M version of that car, something we’ve known all along, since prototypes have already been spotted testing. The very first M4 in BMW history will of course be the coupe, although other variants will follow, including the convertible, the Gran Coupe four-door and possibly some sort of hatchback that looks like the Alfa Brera.
The first M4 will arrive a year and a half from now and will be powered by a new six-cylinder engine with two turbos or more. BMW officials say we should expect about the same horsepower output as the current M3, but more torque and better economy.
