What if BMW Motorrad did some math and decided to enter the 3-wheeler craze? Can you imagine how cool their machines could look and even more - ride? Here's Nicolas Petit's latest concept, based on the acclaimed K1600GT power plant.
Petit openly admits he took some cues from the KTM X-Bow and Volkswagen's Gx3, but the idea actually came from one of his students trying to recreate a Morgan 3-wheeler.

The massive 6-cylinder BMW K1600 engine is placed in the pilot's right side and the width of such a concept allows it. And with the weight of the rider counterbalancing that of the side-placed engine, the wheelbase could be kept in the low numbers.

If we take a look at the drawing showing the above perspective, we can see that the three wheels are more or less in a perfect triangle, and such design with identical track and wheelbase is a rather stable one, to say the least.

Nicolas promised more sketches soon, and until then all we can do is keep on shouting: Hey BMW, fancy a three-wheeler?
