Up until now, anyone who wanted a sporty 6 Series model had to go for the M6 in its Coupe, Convertible or Gran Coupe version. Now, things are changing. BMW just announced that starting with June, this year, you'll be able to get the M Sport package for your 6er.
The M Sport package includes model-specific M aerodynamics package, 19" M light-alloy wheels, LED fog lamps, high-gloss Shadow Line trims, black-painted brake calipers and dark chrome tail pipes.

Going inside you'll find another new set of features like an M leather steering wheel, M door sill finishers and sports seats in Alcantara or Nappa leather, coupled with other high-grade applications like the HUD, Nappa leather covered dashboard, rear-view camera and Park Distance Control.

These new options will be available for all the 6 Series models and, for the 650i and 650xi M Sport models, you'll also get the Lane Departing system along with Active Blind Spot Detection, Side and Top View Cameras and  Speed Limit Info.

Furthermore, the M Sport Edition models will be available with exclusive colors and combinations that were previously reserved only for the M6 versions. These include the Sakhir Orange metallic M paintwork and the Individual leather Merino fine grain Opal white with contrast seams in Sakhir Orange.

As for the pricing, the 640i Coupe M Sport Edition will start at $80,625 (€62,700), the Convertible will start at $87,925 (€68,300) and the Gran Coupe at $83,325 (€64,700).
