The new X1 is a beautiful car, no doubt about it. Compared to its predecessor it looks a lot better and up to date, as it should nonetheless. However, there’s still a long way to go until we actually get to drive it. In the meantime, the marketing department of BMW is out to show us every piece of equipment you can get for the new crossover.
In a recent spot published on the UK Youtube channel of the company, we get to take a look at all the accessories you’ll be able to buy for your new X1.
The line-up is quite impressive too, ranging from the roof bars that can be coupled with carrier systems and boxes, to devices to locking bikes in place, both for the roof and the rear bumper. One such system even tilts, allowing you to use the boot without having to take the bikes down.
Inside the cabin, you’ll be pleased to learn that the options are even more diverse, from hooks to coat hangers, folding tables, iPad holders and even backrest bags for more storing spaces.
Yes, I know, it’s all boring, but the video below made us fall in love with the lines of the car once again, the new X1 showing a fresh look that both stands within the general outlines of the new trend in the company’s line-up but also has its own character.
It’s a shame that it’s going to be front-wheel drive from now on, with the new xDrive all-wheel drive system available optionally but in the end, the extra space this move brings to the table can’t be ignored, especially in this segment. Deliveries should begin towards the end of the year.
