BMW S1000RR Smokes BMW HP4

They're brothers but in a race, someone simply has to go down: here's a nifty action video of a highway race between a well-equipped BMW S1000RR and a BMW HP4. And the S1000RR watched the HP4 ride... in the mirrors.
The BMW HP4 sports the Competition Package, meaning a lot of carbon fiber elements shaving weight off the bike (and making it look cooler, too), whereas the S1000RR brings other aftermarket toys to the game: an Austin Racing ARCS Exhaust, Bazzaz ZFi, BST carbon fiber wheels and ceramic wheel bearings, MWR air filter, and -1 front sprocket.

With the riders allegedly weighing pretty much the same, it looks like a well-endowed S1000RR is a bit better than the HP4 if you want to commute really, really fast. Or simply to give false hope to your opponents and allow them a headstart... just to fly by them, with a trail of dismay.
