With the second iteration of the original Sport Activity Coupe, the X6, it’s pretty obvious that BMW was aiming at a more luxurious ground, one that would tempt those even richer than before, to take a leap of faith and get one.
Hints of this new approach can be seen every here and there. The interior has a more upbeat design, with posher materials being used and a more elegant touch, while on the outside, every thing has become more serious. The front fascia seems more imposing, the rear a bit more fluid, all of them chipping in to create a new image.

The configurator for this new car is still unavailable but we have a feeling that everything will be more expensive and better looking than before. It’s only natural, after all, this being an evolutionary step in the SAC’s lineage.

Nothing says luxury more than the Individual range, over at BMW. Maybe the Individual Manufaktur selection but that’s on a completely different level. The ‘simple’ Individual models offer plenty of luxury even for the more refined tastes.

Speaking of which, BMW released a couple of new photos of the X6 dressed in Individual paint and wearing Individual leather and options inside. As you can see, on the outside, the same Pyrite Brown Metallic Paint used on the F15 X5 and the F84 M4 Convertible was used, to impress those looking for more style.

Inside, taupe Merino leather seats, a leather-wrapped dashboard, Alcantara roofline and Sen Light Brown wood trims welcome you to a whole new experience. That’s not all though, as you can opt for a wide variety of other optional features part of the Individual range as well.

Three other exterior colors are also available through the same program, paints like Ruby Black, Azurite Black Metallic and Pearl Silver Metallic. You can also get new 20” rims with a special design or high-gloss roof rails.

In case you were a fan of the Piano Black trims, you’d be delighted to learn that they are still available for various combinations alongside Individual sill plates and a wood and leather steering wheel.

Before you make the jump to the adjacent photo gallery, you should also know that the F16 model is now available with a cooling box in the rear that is installed in between the seats that can be ordered in Individual fine-grain Criollo Brown, Nutmeg, Amaro Brown and Smoke White Merino leather.
