The BMW M6 Gran Coupe is a beautiful car that also has the grunt to match its looks. Call it whatever you want: a sedan, four-door coupe or anything in between, this thing will rocket to triple digit speeds in no time, while carrying four people inside in comfort and luxury. But what if the stock figures aren’t enough?
Admittedly, the Gran Coupe does weight around 2 tons, depending on the configuration and optional extras so could the 560 HP and 680 Nm (501 lb-ft) of torque be insufficient? For some that’s not even a question.
This particular M6 that stopped by the European Auto Source shop went for a little more. Therefore, the owner decided to get some AMS catless downpipes and a proper ECU tune along with a Meisterschaft exhaust system for added grunt.
The result showed 627 HP and 544 lb-ft (737 Nm) of torque at the wheels. Care to guess how much that means at the crank? Well, with a 12 percent transmission loss it would add up to around 700 HP and 610 lb-ft (827 Nm) of torque. Is that enough?
Definitely not. Some extra stopping power was also in demand to be on par with the new performance so a set of Brembo GT brakes were added to the mix along with new KW V3 coilovers.
On the aesthetics side of things, some M Performance parts like an electronic steering wheel, gloss black kidneys and carbon fiber DCT shift knob were also bought while Vorsteiner provided a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, rear diffuser and trunk spoiler.
The end result is absolutely stunning, dressed in Gray White vinyl. And yes, those are ADV.1 ADV15 wheels.
