The guys from Autobild will soon publish their comparison test of the brand new BMW F13 M6 with the Competition Package stacked against the 3 other sportcars that are supposed to be its direct rivals.
Even though, as we found out in our own test drive of the M6, the new model is more of a GT car than a sport one, people still insist on comparing it to proper sportcars like the Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Audi R8 V10, all of them really close to supercar status.

The results of the complete test will soon be published but until then, a recent forum post showed us some of the numbers the 4 cars returned on their test track.

In the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) tests, the M6 lagged behind, as expected  but, going towards 200 km/h (124 mph) the BMW was already in front of the Audi and going towards 300 km/h (187 mph) the Bimmer even overpassed the GT-R by almost 5 seconds, being dangerously close to the Porsche.

Furthermore, in the elasticity numbers are extremely impressive also, the M6 being better than both the R8 and GT-R Black Edition, noticeably. On top of that, despite being the heaviest of the bunch, the car also managed to return the best average fuel consumption with 13.9 l/100 km (16.9 mpg).

Those numbers speak for themselves, they don’t need explaining but we can’t wait for the complete test to show up to see exactly what the Autobild guys had to say. Until then, check out the complete results in the attached photo.
