The E9X BMW M3 may be out of production, but the tuning world is still coming up with upgrades for it. The latest example of this comes from Leib Engineering, which has taken an E93 M3 to 610 HP.
This is quite a sleeper, as the car keps the stock exterior, with the exception being the 19-inch wheels borrowed from the BMW 1M Coupe. What’s more the “M3” badges have been removed.
Leib Engineering turned to famous BMW tuner G-Power for the hardware. Thus, the 4.0-liter V8 traded its natural aspiration for a G-Power SK II CS supercharger system.
The V8 was fitted with custom injectors, a fuel pump upgrade, an induction system made of carbon and stainless steel, as well as an exhaust system with double 100-cell sports catalytic converters. The exhaust also comes with valves that allow the driver to control the sound. Aside from the obvious ECU remap, the powerplant also received racing spark plugs.
In addition, the handling was also tweaked. The M3 Convertible was gifted with KW DDC adaptive coilovers, which allow the driver to use various settings via the car’s OEM controls.
