BMW M3 Gets Screaming Exhaust

A certain U.S. customer really wanted to take his M3 to another planet in terms of exhaust sound, so he decided to use an extreme approach. Before we start detailing the modifications received by his car, we have to tell you that the M3’s naturally aspirated 4.0 liter V8 is an extremely ferocious monster that had been waiting to be allowed to release its full growl from the day it received the factory exhaust.

Retuning to the special M3, we’ll tell you that the vehicle uses a Meisterchaft exhaust that adds a few extra horses and offers an interesting audio assault. However, the owner of the vehicle wasn’t fully satisfied with the audio performance of his vehicle.

This is why the man turned to U.S.-based Mobile-Addictions, asking the aftermarket developer to... remove the catalytic converters. The result, as you can imagine, is an audio orgy of horsepower sound.

We’re not pretty sure of the fact that the vehicle has remained street-legal after the move, but this is not our business. Let’s just say that the owner decided to turn his M3 into a track-only car, with the exhaust system mutation being the first step in this process.
