Out of a total global run of 450 BMW M3 Coupe Competition Edition models, no less than eight will be available for customers in Singapore, according to a statement made by BMW Asia. The Competion Edition is a commemorative model to celebrate 40 years of M Division.
The Competition Package brings a 10 mm lowered ride height, a set of M3 GTS 19-inch rims that come with a heftier offset, new software for the Electronic Damping Control, as well as for the M Dynamic mode.
There is only one color available for the body, BMW Individual Frozen Silver Metallic coat, which works well in combination with the dark chrome finish for the kidney grills, M side grills and exhaust tips, as well as a black finish for the hood-mounted air intakes.
Power has been left unchanged, which means 420 PS (414 hp) from the 4.0-liter V8 that comes mated to a M DCT double clutch gearbox.
