After a first encounter with the BMW M235i we’re excited to see what the future holds for the brand new 2 Series range. The car we tested was wearing the Melbourne Red paint we’ve been getting used to over the last few years. However, other colors are just as intriguing.
If you’re a BMW owner and you configured your car online, you probably know that some paint options are available only for certain cars. For example, you can’t have Estoril Blue on a Luxury or Modern model. You’d have to either get the M Sport line or the M235i model.

That being said, we have a hunch that the Estoril Blue BMW M235i will be one of the most popular choices out there, next to the classic white and black options.

Speaking of black, a Sapphire Black car was also spotted recently on European roads, possibly looking even better than the blue one we have in the gallery below. It’s all a matter of choice, we guess.

For us, the black variant doesn’t do justice to the aggressive body style of the 2er, the big air intakes at the front getting lost in the picture if the car turns all of the sudden black. Get it in blue and things change up a little, allowing you to properly enjoy the sporty face of this beast.

Oh, and after driving it on wet roads, in heavy rain, we know what we’re talking about when we say ‘beast’. Check out our test drive to learn more!
