A while back we told you that BMW released a M Performance Power kit for all N55 engine powered vehicles, most of them being F30 335i models.
The M Performance Power kit claimed to raise your car's total power output to 320 HP and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque thanks to a custom ECU remap and a new intake. However, separate measurements showed that the cars would gain even more power, all for just $1,100.

Now, according to Bimmerpost, BMW is putting the program on pause for a while, at least until later this year. It seems that BMW is planning to upgrade the N55 engine starting with July 2013 and that's why the PPK is going on hold.

That's more than great news for us. We'll probably be seeing a 320 HP N55 engine or maybe even more. Furthermore, BMW said that they will be releasing a new PPK for the post July 2013 models, to give the car even more power.

For the cars that were built until the starting of this month, the PPK can still be ordered but you'll have to go to a dealership to see exactly what kind of program you'll be using. For more details, check the attached pdf.
