Apparently BMW is already set on selling i cars in India, one of the most crowded and polluted countries in the world. According to Team-BHP.com, the German Group already allocated only 8 i8s for the Asian country.
The same publication says that the Bavarian company will bring the hybrid plug-in sportscar at the Auto Expo in February, marking the debut of the i8 in India.

The 362 HP car that is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds, thanks to its lightweight CFRP construction and massive torque (570 Nm) is expected to reach the other side of the world somewhere in late 2014. Therefore, if you’re one of the numerous wealthy Indians passionate about BMWs you should hurry up and buy one, before stock runs out.
