Apparently BMW is already set on selling i cars in India, one of the most crowded and polluted countries in the world. According to Team-BHP.com, the German Group already allocated only 8 i8s for the Asian country.
The same publication says that the Bavarian company will bring the hybrid plug-in sportscar at the Auto Expo in February, marking the debut of the i8 in India.
The 362 HP car that is capable of reaching 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds, thanks to its lightweight CFRP construction and massive torque (570 Nm) is expected to reach the other side of the world somewhere in late 2014.
