BMW GS 30 Years Limited Edition Models Launched

Celebrating 30 years of the GS range this year, German motorcycle manufacturer BMW released the “30 Years GS” limited edition versions of the BMW R 1200 GS, the R 1200 GS Adventure, the F 800 GS and the F 650 GS. The range will be launched at BMW Motorrad Dealers on June 19, when prices will also be announced.

Aside from being finished in Alpine White paint, the special edition “30 Years GS” models feature three-colored decals in the livery of BMW Motorrad Motorsport of the eighties’ R 80 G/S Rally Raiders from the Paris-Dakar races.

Taken separately, the BMW R 1200 GS “30 Years GS” highlights include: “30 Years GS” model designation on the tank, cross-spoke wheels with black hubs, hand protectors, tinted windshield and red seat with “GS” stamp.

Furthermore, highlights of the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure “30 Years GS” include: “30 Years GS” model designation on the tank, extra-large hand protectors, aluminum engine protection guard and seat in red/black with “GS” stamp.

Among the highlights of the third model, the BMW F 800 GS “30 Years GS”, there are: "30 Years GS” model designation on the airbox cover, hand protectors, aluminum sump guard, tinted windshield, white direction indicators, and seat in red with “GS” stamp.

Finally, highlights of the BMW F 650 GS “30 Years GS” include: “30 Years GS” model designation at the rear, magnesium-colored cast wheels, hand protectors, engine protector, tinted, higher windshield, white direction indicators, as well as a seat in red with “GS” stamp at the front.
